Jessica Maryon-Davies ~ Biography

Jessica Maryon-Davies was born in London and began her student career as a pianist at the age of five years. She was semi-finalist in the prestigious international EPTA piano competition in her early teens, studying under Nadia Lasserson. She went on to make her concerto debut performing Shostakovich's popular second piano concerto with Dulwich Youth Orchestra in 2001.

Jessie was awarded a BA degree in History and Music from the University of Leeds in 2005 where she studied under Ian Buckle and performed several concerts across the North of England. She is now in her second year of the postgraduate course at the Royal Academy of Music where she studies with Andrew West and Daniel-Ben Pienaar, specialising in piano accompaniment and chamber music.
